On May 6 and 7 we will bring our commitment to the sea directly to the classrooms of the Istituto Comprensivo Rodari Alighieri Spalatro in Vieste. Two days in which male and female students will discover the impact of plastic pollution and transform themselves into recovery artists, giving new life to materials collected in clean-up activities.
Leading them will be Massimo Marchiori, in art Stari ribar, an artist and educator who for years has been transforming waste into visual stories, inspiring new generations to take care of the sea through creativity and awareness.
This initiative was born thanks to the collaboration with Marinedi Group , the largest network of marinas in the Mediterranean, committed to the promotion of sustainability and sea culture. Their support allows us to broaden the impact of our actions, bringing marine environmental protection ever closer to local communities.
For us at Sea the Change, educating means making connections: between people, between art and the environment, between the present and the future we want to build. Because every small gesture counts, and every boy and girl who learns to see waste as a resource is a step toward a cleaner sea.
We look forward to these two days together! 🌊
