The Marina di Chiavari Calata Ovest Photography Contest, now in its fourth edition, was created with the aim of enhancing the relationship between man and the sea and telling the story of the area through the marinas of the Marinedi network. The initiative, which each year gathers hundreds of shots from all over Italy, aims to raise awareness of environmental sustainability and the protection of coastal heritage, while promoting the link between local communities and the nautical world.
The 2025 edition saw the participation of more than 200 photographs and was enriched with an important social value thanks to the collaboration with the Associazione Futuro Insieme APS of Chiavari, which is committed to creating employment opportunities for young people with autism.
The selected works, which were awarded by a jury of experts and professionals, represent an authentic and creative look at the sea, the people who live it, and Marinedi marinas.
