The results of Blue Flags 2022 have arrived, and Marinedi Group marinas are among the selected Italian excellences. The Blue Flag project, which also provides awards for virtuous landings, is led by the international non-governmental and non-profit organization "Foundation for Environmental Education" (FEE). The program has been operating in Europe since 1987, but following the signing of a Global Partnership Protocol with the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP) and a Memorandum of Understanding with the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), of which it is also an affiliate member, the initially European program has been extended to 46 countries around the World.
FEE has been recognized by UNESCO as a world leader in the field of environmental education and education for sustainable development.
The main objective of the Blue Flag Program, is to promote in coastal municipalities a sustainable management of the territory through a series of indications that put at the basis of policy choices, attention and care for the environment.
